There has been alot of change around lately, and now the time has come to bring it to my workstation. I’m going portable.

I’ve been thinking about switching workstation for a while now. I’m currently working on a 24″ iMac that really does the trick. My only problem with it is that it’s a stationary computer and that means that the portabillity is zero.
I love the idea to be able to sit down in a café working on a project or to actually be able to get some work done at my girlfriends place.
Every designer works with big documents, and often many windows and programs open at the same time, filled with inspiration and work. The last thing you want is to lose it in a system crash or your workstation desperately needing to restart. That’s exactly the workflow I’ve been having the past few years working on a tired old PC in a Windows environment, but that’s all in the past now.
About two months ago, I was fortunate enough to walk out of our local Apple Store (Postero) with a brand new 24″ iMac, which now does all the heavy lifting design wise. And it does it better than anything I’ve ever worked on.
